We have Steve "Crabby" Crawford who spent his first 8 years surfing in Cornwall and the next 20 years surfing right here in Scarborough. With 28 years of surfing experience you couldn't be in better hands. Steve has honed his skill on a range of boards from 5' fish twin fins to 10'+ planks including paddle boards but is probably better known for his fluid yet radical abilities on shortboards.
Mark 'Grommit' Dickinson was born in Scarborough and started surfing in Scarborough age 11. 21 years later he still out on every swell, as well as shaping boards locally. He offers advice on surf prediction, the art of nose-riding and glide, and making the most out of east coast surf conditions, although better known for his abilities on longboards, fishes and eggs. He still, once in a while, puts on a show on more conventional equipment.
